    Hooray for Brian…and Red and Rover! The one thing I really hate about Christmas traditions is the chopping down of so many beautiful trees only to decorate a home for a few days and then be discarded as trash out into an alley or some such place. Just thrown away. What a waste! It makes my heart sad even to think about it.

    @flong around here, discarded trees are either used to shore up the sand dunes or ground into mulch for gardens.
