“…lots of time to write to people.” Ah, poor innocent naive adorable misinformed Snoopy. Well, go on and chase your dream. It’s safer than chasing cars.

Am I wrong or there is a little sarcasm here, Mr Schulz?

Maybe she will steal his plot and add bunny-wunnies.

No wonder the Red Barron keeps shooting him down, pull the stick back Snoopy, before Helen let’s you have both barrels. Such a sweet kid.

Snoopy’s delusion is all too common. This is why creative people are expected to work for free (or ‘exposure.’) My Dad was an advertising writer. A client was coming by his office to pick up some copy Dad had spent a lot of time working on. When the client got there, Dad said he only needed to type it up now. After a few minutes, Dad handed the client the typed copy, and right away the client questioned the invoice. “Why are you billing me for all this time writing this? I saw you sit down and do it in less than ten minutes!” Dad showed the client some of his notes and drafts, and said. “You saw me type it. You did not see me write it.”

Snoopy is known and loved—and still read—by hundreds of millions. Not a bad track record that!

Methinks Miss Sweetstory’s next letter to Snoopy will be a restraining order.

That book’s name is so original.

Actually he never finished “A Dark and Stormy Night” as you will see in cartoons yet to come.

I’m pretty sure nothing that Snoopy said there is actually true.

I think this is where Snoopy get his heart broken.
