    Saw one in a small town like that. Road way was all scraped up from the DOT bars bottoming out. Probably rear ends on low cars too.

    I was raised near Chitown and occasionally there would be a train that would block the road for 30-40 minutes.

    I have it on pretty good authority that if you set an aluminum canoe across the tracks at the crossing, the signals will activate.

    We can put a man on the moon, but we can’t make a railroad crossing that won’t tear the axles off your car.

    If there are no crossing gate arms, you can bet it doesn’t get much use.
