That’s not so strange! Nowadays, the commercials usually ARE more entertaining than the programs. I understand that most companies spend a LOT more money on making sure that their commercials are entertaining than they do on making sure that the show BETWEEN the commercials is entertaining. Maybe Walt is just skipping the most boring parts of the show for his trips to the kitchen!
I think Walt is on to something! With these awful reality shows catering to the dumbing down of America, the commercials are the bright spot, many are clever, innovative and entertaining.

Once I run across it, I can’t turn off the commercial for the “Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts”.
