Speaking of Sonic the Hedgehog, since Archie comics last year in 2017 lost the Archie Sonic contract last year after publishing a Sonic the Hedgehog comic book for 25 years, the new Sonic comic book from IDW Publishing comes out April 4, 2018 in comic shops.
Sonic Hedgehog is also a gene-protein family found in all Animal phyla from Cnidarian onward. It is critical in embryonic development, mediating the cellular differentiation between nerves, muscles and skin (among other tasks). Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) is very ancient and very conserved, branching off from other Hedgehog suites at least 680 million years ago.
