Dear Mark Hamill, just watched your "no one's ever really gone" scene in "The last jedi" special features (again!) The way you touch leid and speak so beautifully hopeful to her and knowing that carrie fisher is now gone...well, it just makes me cry giant tears every time. please don't spread that around. I wouldn't want anything to hurt my stoic, jedi-like reputation. your friend, dean.

Dean is being real cute here. Maybe he should show more of this side to Heart.

What kid would write a letter these days? He’d be tweeting Hamill @HamillHimself

A very good strip, showing Dean writing a letter these days shows how much we have lost through electronic media

When I saw the third “Night at the Museum” movie in the theaters, there were people audibly crying when Robin Williams said “smile, my boy, it’s sunrise!” Not so much for “The Last Jedi” although to be fair, I saw a special screening that was rather sparsely attended.

I saw a picture of Mark Hamill with a caption which may or may not have been something he actually said regarding her death:
“There’s never a day so far where I don’t think of her. And when I think of her, she’s looking down from the celestial stratosphere, with those big brown eyes, and that sly smile on her face, as she lovingly extends me the middle finger.”

If my life wasn’t funny, it would just be true, and that’s unacceptable. Carrie Fisher
I’m very sane about how crazy I am. Carrie Fisher
I trust myself. I trust my instincts. I know what I’m gonna do, what I can do, what I can’t do. I’ve been through a lot, and I could go through more, but I hope I don’t have to. But if I did, I’d be able to do it. I’m not going to enjoy dying, but there’s not much prep for that. Carrie Fisher
People want me to say that I’m sick of playing Leia and that it ruined my life. If my life was that easy to ruin, it deserved to be ruined. Carrie Fisher
People are still asking me if I knew Star Wars was going to be that big of a hit. Yes, we all knew. The only one who didn’t know was George. Carrie Fisher
I was born on October 21, 1956 in Burbank, California. My father, Eddie Fisher, was a famous singer. My mother, Debbie Reynolds, was a movie star. Her best-known role was in ‘Singin’ In The Rain.’ Carrie Fisher
I have been in ‘Star Wars’ since I was 20. Carrie Fisher
That’s why ‘Star Wars’ is appealing. You watch someone fight the perilous monster. Carrie Fisher
There is no point at which you can say, ‘Well, I’m successful now. I might as well take a nap.’ Carrie Fisher

It’s a shame that episode 8 was so controversial, particularly among toxic fans, as it was the final movie with Carrie Fisher. Maybe 10 years from now, people will stop caring entirely about the sequel trilogy and just like that we saw performances from some of the main cast on the big screen one last time.
