If Britt spent much time talking to Wendy Wichel, he would have heard some bad things along with the good.

There’s the Green Hornet Tracy! Arrest him! Arrest him!

Britt, Kato and Casey did research on Det. Tracy and Topper and anything else they would need working in a strange city.

I never got the opportunity to watch the TV show (even though I enjoyed their appearance on Batman), but now I wanna watch the whole thing.

Where is Kato?

There may also be a problem with Det. Tracy hearing Britt’s voice and later maybe the Green Hornet. Probably not. I must admit I am revved up for this story.

Dick’s Spidy senses should have kicked in, especially after all that bragging yesterday!

If Reid is releasing a tip about his alter ego’s appearance in Tracy’s city, he deffo has something up his sleeve.

Checking the coloring, I’m reminded of a comedian’s gag about Superman being drafted and taking his physical: Next… yeah, you with the blue hair, next!

Tracy will figure out who Britt is…

Dick and Britt shaking hands looks like Batman and Robin doing the same in the opening of the Batman TV show.

I wish that Mike and Joe’s version of Britt Reid looked more like Van Williams, who we lost in 2016.

Actually, in panel 2 Britt looks a little like Bruce Wayne.

Doesn’t Britt look like he’s Tracy’s long lost twin brother?

If it was Sherlock Holmes (one of Tracy’s role models) meeting Britt Reid, he would already have deduced from small tell-tale clues that Reid was the Green Hornet. Of course, Inspector Lestrade would scoff at Holmes rather than arresting Reid LOL

Never knew the Green Hornet was considered a criminal.

Holmes’ True Method

So what method does Holmes ACTUALLY use? Is there are formal logic version of his method. Well, essentially there are two major forms of formal reasoning in “Induction” and “Deduction”. But there are somewhat less well known forms of logic as well. Such as Abduction.

Abductive Reasoning is a form of reasoning that goes from Observation to Hypothesis. It observes a situation, say a crime scene, and brings up several hypothesis that are sufficient for causing the crime. For instance, lets say we have this scenario:

So it would be impossible for him to “deduce” that Britt Reid is the Green Hornet by merely meeting him.

Icon? Meet icon. Panel 3 is an instant classic. If Britt weren’t also the Green Hornet, he and Tracy could become really close friends; as it is, he will have to maintain a circumspect distance from the Chief of Detectives….

They can still have a friendship.
