So, the truth was born shortly before Jesus birth? There is no zero year, BTW. Just 1 B.C.E., followed by 1 C.E. (I know it’s a comic! :-P)

And we get this in the week we find out something like despite the major media outlets reporting that the Pulse nightclub shooter was motivated by hatred of gays, he actually chose his target at random at the spur of the moment because he was put off by security at Disney. He may not have even known Pulse was a gay bar until after he arrived. So, yeah, keep pushing that narrative that it is social media that killed the truth.

There was no year “0”. Truth was born in the year “1,” however, while Truth indeed died in 2016, it will, like the phoenix, begin to rise again on 06 November 2018. Vote!

Quoting scripture, Jesus clearly stated, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes before the Father except by me,” POTUS B>O> informed the world that the USA was no longer a Christian nation, philosophers try to tell us G-d is dead, society is trying to absolve itself of all absolutes and make all things situational and feel good…the further this nation gets away from Bible values and the inspired Word of G-d the more at risk we all become. Most of the societal acceptable behaviors today were listed as biblical sins only 50 years ago, we have lost our moral compass, and it can be found again within the cover of the book that begins with Genesis and ends with Revelation.

Truth didn’t die in 2016. If we’re talking the internet, it died WELL before then.

I guess the truth died when the first humans learned to speak. There are scientists who think that we only learned to speak to spread gossip.

Logically, if truth were dead, no one would be able to say so.

Yellow journalism, way back in the 1890’s can be the end of Truth in media. But I’m sure news papers even before then were making up stories to get readers. It’s just that now the sound bite have finished off what little truth remained. We can blame the 24/7 news cycle for that, and their need to target and hold onto people who share one view and one only. People who don’t care about nuances, or context. To me, it seems that nowadays people only want to hear what they already believe.

Lies have always been around, but never in the history of our society were such obvious lies passed off as truth prior to 2016. And such behavior was never so widespread or popular.

Such events can only be wrought by the narcissist’s need to maintain a façade of perfection, no matter what the cost.

In almost all language with noun’s gender truth is feminine, so her. (For example: ancient and modern Greek, Latin, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian…)
