Unlike a lot of people today. Charlie Brown gets back up on his two feet and keeps on pitching. He may have some doubts but he keeps on trying.

Keep it up Charlie Brown. Sooner or later you will hear the words STRIKE ONE!

With good reason.

Charlie is the manager, so naturally he would be the pitcher. I remember playing in a church softball team and there too the manager, an old guy, well past his prime, decided HE would be the pitcher. He lobbed the most beautiful pitches that ended up being home runs almost every time. No. Charlie should let Lucy pitch. Her stare alone would scare most of the little league batters from hitting the ball, and Charles would make a good outfielder.

Charlie Brown’s baseball games must take forever if he has to get dressed again every time that happens. And that’s on top of the time it takes the other team to score about 90 runs.

I don’t know how Mr. Schultz thought of this originally but it was hilarious.

The baseball season’s are some of my favorite drawings.

You would think Charlie Brown might learn something from those self doubts. No. He doesn’t. He would make a better outfielder.

Charlie Brown was Charles Schulz’s favorite character, simply because, no matter what happened, C.B. just refused to quit.
