Good thing his nose isn’t longer. On a different thread: apteryx shape reminds me very strongly of an old whimsy: a bird shaped toy with a long beak that was mounted on the rim of a glass and repeatedly dipped its beak in the water. Fascinating to watch for a time. Haven’t seen one of those ‘toys’ in ages.

I’m surprised that the turtle (tortoise?) has a name but the dookie bird doesn’t.

This reminds me of a gag from the old Odd Couple TV show (the 70s version). Felix finds Oscar asleep in bed under a pile of dirty clothes and begins shaking him to try to wake him up, only to have Oscar’s head emerge from the opposite end of the pile.

Don’t need “this end up”stickers as much as “front porch” and “back door” onea.
