    You DO do your homework- Bayer was part of IG Farber- the maker of XyklonB from 1925 to 1952 – and they purchased Monsanto in 2016, but the legalities weren’t finalized until this year. And you make me look up so much…

    Monsanto has a large share of the GMO corn and soybean market, but it’s not a monopoly. Nor do they control any other seed market.

    I guess no one is giving Monsanto credit for helping end Jim Crow in the south. They developed herbicides in the 1940’s and 1950’s which obviated the need for cheap labor to chop the cotton. That and the invention of the cotton picker destroyed the sharecropper system which took away the need to keep poor blacks tied to the land. I am sure that was one of Monsanto’s maniacal plots to rule the world.
