I wonder if this is how Trump will act when Bob Mueller finally gets around to questioning him on such matters as: “what time is it, Mr. President?”.

There’s always sympathy points for tears, even from dads.

Calvin is clearly channeling Rodion Raskolnikov rather than the Twit-in-Chief.

This is why we love Calvin. He’s got a fertile imagination and a healthy conscience.

I don’t think this is the first time that Calvin has left his dad speechless.

Many years ago while manager of a business that employed high school age youth I was stuff about there school attendance. Two young ladies who did everything together walked into work one evening. As they passed I asked how school was that day. One blurted out “we are sorry, we got caught leaving campus at lunch and have in school suspension”. The other rolls her eyes and says “he didn’t know!” I didn’t and it was quite funny. Both went on to college and became quite successful.

The fact that Clavin actually has a conscience, may mean that his parents are actually having an effect. How much is questionable.

One Calvin and Hobbes fan (no it wasn’t me and I don’t know who it was) read through all 10 years worth of strips to put a $ amount on how much damage Calvin caused and arrived at $15,955.50

Guilt has no survival value.

Calvin wouldn’t last a day in the current administration!

As the story emerges, I suspect the “I didn’t mean to” will sort of morph to “I didn’t much care.”
