Also in 1989, it would start the end (or so we thought) of this comic strip and creating two spin-offs. Well actually this strip itself was the spin-off of an original comic strip, that would make it three spin offs before coming back full circle, which makes this strip a reboot. Oh, my head is spinning.

The whole point of the temporary Trump presidency is that it proves that a successful con artist or cult leader (Trump is both) need not be intelligent, merely less idiotic than the victims of his con games and cult. And, of course, it is the Trump worshippers who have their opinions “given” to them.

I have been waiting for this to come up. I reread the strips recently, and hoped this would happen.

I’m fairly sure this will set the Trump apologists spinning, similar to how they got worked up over the 30 year old Doonesbury arcs about Trump.
