Oooh! What precipitated that icy comment from Marigold? Phoebe was just innocently expressing how she finds the distinction between common orns and unique orns…indistinct. It’s a good thing she didn’t mention any equine resemblances (say, that the wigs remind her of bushy horse manes, etc.). The wigs give them a vaguely Egyptian appearance (and thereon may hang another unicorn legend…).
I would think Clip-clop would be a strange name for a unicorn, since it is the sound horses, and especially shod horses, make on hard ground. I don’t know what sound unicorns make (it depends on whether their hooves are more like deer or the padded hooves of mountain sheep/goats), but I wouldn’t think it would be “clip clop”.
I used to watch this show back in the 80s called Night Court. If any of you have ever seen, you’d be familiar with Bull Shannon, the Bailiff. He always made me laugh! :)
His intro was: All rise! Criminal court part 2 is not in session. The Honourable Judge Harold T. Stone presiding!"
