I’m afraid it’s true. However, if you have enough intelligent friends to keep you grounded, it’s s nice to “hang” with those who are mentally challenged to inspire them!

It’s true! Many stupid decisions and lifestyles are because that behavior was normalized within their circle of friends. If you hang out with a bunch of bank robbers and your discussions are usually around that behavior and you also see them making plans all the time and you see them bringing in their hauls, eventually, you too could be dumb enough to think robbing banks is normal and beneficial. You can replace “bank robbing” with any stupid behavior.
