âTutankhamun was slight of build, and was roughly 5 ft 11 in tall. He had large front incisors and an overbite characteristic of the Thutmosid royal line to which he belonged. ⊠Tutankhamun also had âa slightly cleft palateâ and possibly a mild case of scoliosis, a medical condition in which the spine deviates to the side from the normal position. X-rays clearly show that the king suffered from KlippelâFeil syndrome, the congenital fusion of any two of the cervical vertebrae. All seven vertebrae in his neck were completely fused together, so he was unable to move his head. Examination of Tutankhamunâs body has also revealed deformations in his left foot, caused by necrosis of bone tissue. The affliction may have forced Tutankhamun to walk with the use of a cane, many of which were found in his tomb." (from Wikipedia)
He may have been the child of a brother-sister marriage, and he married his half-sister. Died at ~18; no surviving kids.
The imperial goatee on King Tutankhamunâs golden burial mask is back in business after scientists reattached it with beeswax, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities. The more than 3,300-year-old mask was damaged in August 2014 when the beard accidentally fell off during a routine cleaning.
Has Sister Teresa secretly been consorting with fellow-cartoonist Jennifer Babcock (Câest la Vie), who actually is a professional EE_-gyp-TOL-_o gist?
There are so many half-truths and speculations centered around poor Tut-ankh-amun (once Tut-ankh-aten). Itâs a wonder he doesnât just OD on extract of tanna leaves!
