A moderately powerful fan works wonders. I’m sure there’s an outlet there somewhere. Alternatively, that hot tub where you spent the winter is probably still empty. Hide there.

As kids we used to go to a local pond and fish, goof off, tell lies, and all the other fun kid things to do. One day instead of the usual number of mosquitos there were millions (or so it seemed). Turns out an idiot had spent several hours killing most of the frogs with a bb gun. Until the frog population regrew, our favorite hidey-hole was uninhabitable. An early lesson in ecology.

Feel the burn? Yeah, kill it with fire would probably work…

I’m not sure if the line “Go for the burn, Verne!” was an intentional rhyme or not.

Go for the OFF, Verne, and when you’re done, I know a wretched raccoon who can use a good de-fleaing with it.

Vern should be eating them and diving into the nearest water source.

Now, if they could just time it as interval training he would get a bit of time without a bite.
