Kat is a difficult language to master. T. S. Eliot dabbled in it once, but never really mastered it. Southern cat dialect has a certain twang about it but the phraseology is much more elegant somehow.
Our gray tabby tom cat has two meows: one for food, one for “out”. Otherwise there is the deep stare till one of us clears a lap for his Highness to sleep on.
Our cats don’t bother. They just sleep wherever they like and whenever they like. Last week two of they tried to get on the Mrs’s LBD. They were lucky I caught them before they did, otherwise I would be telling a tale about another way to skin a cat.

“Google Translate” will become essential once the developers figure out how to interpret meows.

I was able to buy the original of this strip during one of the ebay auctions. Framed and hanging in my home office……

My dog does this. Will sit by her bed until I straighten things out. Sigh.
