    So, all Marbled Crayfish are clones or 1. The male is so dissembler to the female that science thinks it is a different spices, there is a spider like that. Or, 2. The male is absorbed into the female like a deep sea fish, an angler fish I believe. One other possibility, a female transforms into a male like some frogs, remember “Jurassic Park”.

    The marbled crayfish was discovered in the pet trade as a subspecies of the slough crayfish. The marbled crayfish has no known natural populations in the wild and are now considered an invasive species. They reproduce by parthenogenesis (development of an embryo from an unfertilized egg).
