    Some pretty memorable last words.

    “Et tu, Brute?”

“I regret that I have but one life to give for my country!”

“I must go in, for the fog is rising.”

…Not quite as memorable in terms of last words, but…

Aside from sitting on his cot facing away from Charlie Brown, the kid must’ve done SOMEthing to pass the time at camp when no one else but him was in the cabin.

And so another camping season ends with our participants heading home with warm remembrances of shared comradeship and fun times!

A thought just occurred to me. If that kid wanted to be left alone (as he said repeatedly) then why was he at camp in the first place? A summer camp is NO place for a misanthrope (one who hates people) to be.

Funny. That’s what my ex wife said every night 2 months before our divorce.

Say, those were his first words too. What a coincidence.

It seems that CB is totally naïve, or completely out to lunch. Memories ……………….

Since home is too far for them to scamper on their little famous person legs, I wonder if the bus has little Al Unser wheels.

At least the kid got to go home, too. Maybe that’s all he wanted.
