heterochromia is not that unusual in humans also. However in humans the blue eye is usually part blue and part brown!

I saw something on tv once about a girl like Jody Robson who did the same thing. I think they called it Kleine Levin syndrome, or Sleeping Beauty syndrome.

David Bowie did not have 2 different colored eyes. Both his eyes were blue. His one eye had an enlarged iris, due to a fight he had with a childhood friend.

Robson says that while she can be awakened to use the bathroom or to eat, she only remembers being in a “trance like state” and feeling more as if she’s in a dream, reports the Daily Mail UK.

B.S. Jody Robson has never slept for more than 11 days.

From an online article by the Daily Mail: While she is asleep, or in a trance-like state, her mother and husband help look after the children. As she can be asleep for days Mr Robson must wake her at least twice to eat a snack, drink water and go to the toilet. But while he can momentarily wake his wife up to fulfill her basic needs, the young mother falls straight back to sleep again.

The article contradicts itself a bit, saying in a couple places “11 days”, but with Ms. Robson saying “2 weeks.”
