Annie probably knows some shyster lawyer or some legal dodge or even some talented muscle who will intimidate the security guard/witness. Or she could just show up in court as a character witness and make big sad eyes [suitably kolh-ed] at the jury.
One question I have as an over protective mother, when Lila and Drew were out burglarizing, where was Annie? Did Lila leave her home alone, or did she get a sitter? Was Annie at Dr. Fine’s?
Just wondering. I know people who think it’s just fine to leave a little kid, asleep, alone in the house while they go out “just for a moment”, but I didn’t think Lila was that type.
