Eight steps? Relief is only a hop, skip and a jump away, Katy. But make sure there’s water i the pool.

She’s good. Really good. make sure she takes theater in school. Come be a future famous actress.

If you thinks its hot now you better change your way of life!

I think I’d help her. Eight steps isn’t to far of a throw.

The first panel (next to the title) said it all.

If it’s that hot out, I’d be worried about the temperature of the water in that pool.

If it is MUGGY, then it’s humid, and she would NOT be in the desert. As someone who grew up in Arizona (the only place you really find the saguaro cactus in the first panel), it is dry, dry heat. Now Dallas TX – you get the triple digit heat with the humidity…

Step into a cold shower first, then go out to the pool. Hopefully you’ll stay wet long enough before you get in there. As long as the intense heat didn’t dry up the pool. We’re close to the lake, so the humidity here gets pretty horrible. Sometimes I just step out and I can’t breathe.

Our oldest daughter was a drama queen. We used to call her Sarah Heartburn but younger folks don’t get the joke.
