Calvin: Rats, there goes my bubble for today.

There are more bubbles to be blown, Calvin. See how many you can blow in one breath, see how big a bubble you can blow, blow them in the wind, then chase them and pop them, put bubble solution in a wide, shallow container and use big bubble wands…better yet, play with someone else! Get your mom and dad out there! Or maybe even – dare I say – SUSIE!!!

Anticipation occasionally exceeds the actual event.

Wait until next winter when it is five degrees out. Last a lot longer.

I can’t blame you Calvin for being underwhelmed, the bubble you were blowing in the first panel was at least 2x as big as it ended up being in the second panel and that pathetic little pop didn’t, impress either.
