When the Beatles manager, Brian Epstein, died, the group began to really fall apart. They had already developed very different musical interests (Paul continued with pop music, George was beginning to get more into Indian music, and John wanted to do experimental music.) It was Epstein who had set up Apple Corporation, and with his death, the musicians could not really figure out themselves how to run the ābusiness sideā of the business. Epstein had helped mediate among them to let George have at least one song on each album (even though Paul and John didnāt care for the Indian music that much). They brought in new management, but it didnāt work out. In fact, even before Epsteinās death, Ringo had gone away from the group to record with others. It was a lot more than Yoko Ono that split the Beatles upā¦
