Perhaps the strip should be renamed “Chubbo and Sluggo.” Or is that chubby shaming?

I wonder if Nancy and Alvin raid Emmy Lou’s fridge when Sluggo isn’t around.

Pity there’s no Panel 4, with the chest burster flying out of Nancy’s chest and singing “Hello, My Baby…”

I like this more active, more knowledgeable Sluggo. I also like how Olivia has created these twins. I hope that they (and Esther as well) remain frequent participants in this new Nancy.

In my read from what we have seen of Sluggo thus far, Olivia’s “Sluggo” is more attuned to his environment than the Gilchrist “Sluggo” and seems to have a little bit more opinion and insight than the Bushmiller “Sluggo”. I like this.

I also have hopes that the iconoclastic Oona Goosepimple will show up from time-to-time.
