    Good morning™, backyard detectives!

So, Tracy was prepared for something to happen at any time, but the appearance of a truck at his home was what actually made him suspicious.

A good example of knowning your friends at the bakery. And the normal suspicious nature of a police officer.

Thought the reason was Tracy knew all the employees…. at least it was before. Sawtooth lives to bite another day, another story? That would work…

So Sawtooth and Grimm just happened to stumble upon a truck which had Ernie’s Fine Eats written on it?

Did they stop by a Home Depot to buy some spray paint?

A professional killer like Sawtooth didn’t bother to do his research?

Why wasn’t there around the clock protection for the Tracy’s since he received a direct threat?

What a terrible wrap up to a story that had some great moments and potential!

I always knew Tracy was a “boy scout” always prepared, and, Tess must’ve been a “girl scout” since she kne enough to be prepared like Dick.

Other than the fact that under Bribery, Sawtooth was Crystal’s mentor in shooting, I still don’t see how the sub plot involving Honeymoon and Crystal and everyone at Smith Industries fits into this story

Got to believe that word about Grimm’s fate will make it’s way to the squad room soon…

Seriosly? Avenger hinting at a wrap up. Jeez, I hope not. There are continually too many loose ends left on these various stories. Is Grim(M) gonzo, where’s Sawtooth going. This strip is becoming like Marvel films, everything is set up for somne kind of sequel. I agree, even with the useless interjection of Honeymoon and Crystal to the mix, this was an interesting arc. Hoping this isn’t the end, and next week we’ll be back with some drivel from the moon.

So did Sawtooth get away to Minot where his secret money stash is?

A little more filler as Tracy recovers from the blow to his head and Sam acts as his foil. The visual close-ups/tight shots fit the expository nature of this lull in the action (presumably this arc has almost another month to run, if the 24 August date for a new story is secure). But Tracy’s legal status to pursue Sawtooth across state lines is tightly limited (he is, after all, “just” a municipal cop), so it looks as though Sawtooth has a good chance of getting away, unless Tracy can enlist help from the local LEOs up north. We should be given some insight as to this aftermath, regardless of what sub-plot percolates to the fore….
