A local hunter’s lodge has a similar one–only the lights are covered with various colors (red, yellow, green) of plastic shotgun cartridges.

They also have a “Cartridge in a Bare Tree”, for those who prefer to sing. With enough cartridges, it’s not too hard to get the two turtle doves, the three french hens, and even the four calling birds…
