perhaps the 32-yo mate was on his way to an auto parts store? (frying pan must be hot to the touch in the summer time)

Is there a law in Australia that says you can’t modify your steering wheel?

We had a case a few weeks ago where police arrested a man who was using a bucket to sit on instead of a car seat and was steering using a Mole wrench instead of a steering wheel. Police said there were too many offences to number.

That statement about fish is true. I never forgot the day my pet goldfish drowned in its bowl. RIP.

He gave the officers some bacon, and they let him off with a warning.

So his fish drowned and he used the pan he bought from the lady at Ima Market to drive home. Sheesh, give the guy a break, he’s been through a lot.

If you use a frying pan for a steering wheel, you might be a redneck.

I’ve never figured out how the cops can write up the drunk on his riding mower for driving without a license when you don’t need a license to drive a mower.

It depends on how you define drowning. Fish can basically suffocate if there is not enough dissolved oxygen in the water. It is more like a person in an enclosed space suffocating when the oxygen in the air is depleted.

A stall holder is like being in our flea markets and having a little area to setup your wares.

Many years ago, I had a friend who liked to “modify” cars. Probably the most extreme was when he stripped away most of the car’s body, leaving just the frame, windshield, wheels, motor, and the inside stuff. He used a large metal milk container for a gas tank. We were out driving it around and got pulled over. The cop was more amused than anything else. He didn’t issue a ticket, but told us to get it off the road… ☺

The whole story is even weirder than just using a pan for a steering wheel.

Many years ago, some of my friends and did something like that. The cop that stopped us in Charleston, S. C. was not amused in the slightest. He said: “Yew boys have until sundown to get this piece of **** out of South Carolina, or yew are spending the night in jail.” We hauled * back to Georgia as fast as that thing would take us.
