Who is the carrot-beaked seagull?

Note the bird’s beak extending outside of the picture frame. That was a common background theme in the Jiggs comic “Bringing Up Father” – things in the pictures on the walls being outside of their frames.

I seem to recall that Jiggs was a corned beef and cabbage lover, and that it would sometimes aggravate his gout.

Y’ know, Scancarelli used to depict the old characters more accurately. Just sayin’.

JS never showed how Eve went to the bad. I hoped that he would reform her before the strip ended but I guess that’s not going to happen. I wonder why he got so far away from how the strip used to be.
