There was a new article eons ago about some employees who “borrowed” an inflatable raft to go camping. Trouble was the raft had a silent signal that summoned rescue people when it was inflated. They suddenly found themselves surrounded by Coast Guard helicopters and the like.

Helpful hint: When stealing an inflatable raft, do not inflate until far away from the store.
