Well, if the bracelet, long girlish fingers, and long fingernails don’t tip him off I don’t think anything will. Oh, and the guy getting pummeled in the background is a nice touch Bea.
Hey, at least she actually made contact with the ball. The few times i tried playing sportsball as a kid, I just dove for cover the moment I saw the ball coming in my general direction.
No Hubbs she needs you, she was about to give up on love and when love dies life is just a barren wasteland with a pitch-black sky! That was part of a poem assignment I had to write for 7th grade english, all it got me was some akward looks…
I’ve been reading over on Webtoons recently. The difference in audiences is evident. Here is negative and sardonic, over there the people are happy and enthusiastic. GoComics is a theater for the terminally pissed.
Er, Hubbs, look at her hand and then into her eyes. Know that there is no “Al.” Will Ellie kick a field goal or will she kick clueless Hubbs? Will Hubbs be forced to punt once he learns of his mistake?
Hubbs is still apparently oblivious to the fact that “Al” is female, despite the fact it is becoming more obvious. If the expression “Crappy-poodles!” wasn’t a dead giveaway, nothing is. Of course, I’m not sure Hubbs heard that.

Panel#2, What kind of guy talks like that? This should have given her away, that and the cute face she’s making. ;)

Hey is this a sponsored league? If the opposing team is sponsored by “Big Biz Nez Corp” that’ll make things about both love and honor.

Don’t tell me Ellie grew up watching romantic animes… or in all this time she hasn’t looked in a mirror.

If Hubbs just suddenly inspired Ellie to become the best player on the team…I will burst out laughing with joy.

Alternately, if she wraps her arms around him and kisses him in the guise of “Al”, fujoshi mode might activate!

If it had been “We need you” I would expect the Zulus to be just over the next hill.

He means on the team Ellie not in life. Though I still say Hubbs is the one :)

It might be more romantic if Hubs knew Al was female. Still, it makes me squirm with satisfaction. :)

He may need Al now… but when the truth comes out, he’s going to need a therapist.
And possibly a pace-maker for his heart.

I suppose it depends on whether Hubbs’s double entendres are double or single.

Ah, yes… the magic words… “I need you.”
Almost as good as, “I love you.”
