People look at me and ask if I am alright, if I need to sit down, if I need a wheelchair. Sitting on a jury, the gentleman we found guilty was constantly looking worried for me. It was touching, but he was clearly guilty. I hope they were nice to him.
For quite a while the greeters at my local Walmart (or hardly anyone else in that store) barely acknowledged you. However, itās gotten better recently.
The main reason Walmart does it anyway, is that it discourages shoplifters. People aiming to steal want to be invisible, and being spoken to by a store employee lessens their confidence.

While I have to go to a clinic and still wear this special shoe sometimes someone will ask but very rarely.

I wanna see someone like Sgt. Maj. Basil Plumley (āWe Were Soldiers Onceā ā the book is better than the movie) as a Walmart greeter.

Whenever heās asked how he is by a clerk, my husband always answers āterribleā. Only rarely does anyone pick up on it.

The biggest problem is those that seem to know how you should live your life better than you do.
