I remember a line from the movie “Rampage”: “That’s why I like animals; you know where you stand with them. He likes you, then he likes you. He doesn’t like you, he eats you.”
I definitely agree about the socks with the sandals. That looks so ridiculous. I can’t even stand it when women wear nylon stockings with them. Sandals should be worn with no hosiery whatsoever. The only ladies I let off the hook are the nuns where their habit requires they wear the sandals year-round (unless they have a foot issue requiring shoes). In the winter, they can’t be going barefoot in them. Even though they don’t really go outside much, it’s too cold even indoors for it.
Never understood the problem with sandals and socks, you wear socks for comfort and to stop sweaty feet sliding about. There again I stopped wearing sandals in junior school.

As long as it isn’t the socks with the kittens on them. I was ready to bite him the last time he wore them.

All of a dog’s emotions are unconditional. You can pretty much read them like a book.

And his shorts aren’t half-way to the ground.

dogs’ opinions on clothing: Darn, they are wearing those shoes that mean we aren’t going with them. Oh heck, let’s see if they’ll take us anyhow.
