Thanks for the comments on my cat, Tabby, yesterday. Since he is an indoor cat with little interest in bolting for the great outdoors anymore, he stays in the air-conditioning (71° to 73°). He loves to get brushed (despite that, he sheds enough fur to fill a vacuum cleaner canister).

I live in town. There are chickens in a backyard several streets over. Besides the obvious benefit, they are great at keeping marauding insects out of your garden.

I kinda think I was once clucking in a non-clucking zone. Shhh – don’t tell Judge Chesney.

I thought somebody here mentioned a woman (Lauren??) who found a mountain lion in her house. Am imagining things?
