I can’t wait for the “reveal” when Hubbs realizes the double entendre of the things he’s been saying to Ellie. His head might explode! Though I’m hoping the experience will boost his confidence when he’s with her, since he will see she can be “one of the guys” and they can have fun together.

Play the following like an old Cary Grant romantic comedy:

Imagine Hubbs at some point grabbing Al and giving him a hug and a spontaneous kiss (perhaps on the cheek)… and pulling back in horror and stammering an apology, then “Al” pulls off the wig and Hubbs says "You’re a girl? [Whew!] Then it’s okay… wait… you’re a GIRL? AAAAIIIIIEEEEEEEeeeeee….(fading in the distance).

This could get complicated if Hubbs realizes he’s attracted to a “guy” … or maybe he’ll realize he’s bi-sexual, a different sort of complication, because then…meep!

I regret that, like Hubbs, there have been times I had not comprehended an attractive woman flirting at me. On the other hand, I have never mistaken such a woman for a guy. So I have that going for me.
