I’m waiting to see how drinking a 32 oz soda without a straw goes. You can hardly lift those big cups.

When I was a kid we got 8 oz and a paper straw and we liked it!

I missed the news the other day. I was too tired to look at the comics because I work in the garden center/seasonal department at Walmart which means that I’m working the back-to-school stuff too. Well, August 1-5 are special "tax-free days where there is no sales tax on school supplies. So of course people are shopping for school supplies in a really big way. Our sales were HUGE on August 1 and I was the only person working the department. I felt like it was me against the world and needless to say, the world won. I was as busy as a beaver al day, trying to keep the department straightened up while customers were messing it up twice as fast as I could straighten. So, I was just too tired to look at the comics on Wednesday night. And it was only now after the Friday strip posted that I looked back and saw Wednesday’s news that Ten Cats will be starting new strips on Sunday. I’ve enjoyed the reruns but I’m so happy to hear we’ll be getting new ones now.

Good morning and happy Friday/TGIF, Graham Crackers! 2 treatments to go! I will be incommunicado this weekend as we are being picked up by in-laws at the hospital and heading up to the cabin for the Civic Holiday long weekend. I’ll be back sometime on Monday.

Just to let you all know, Gweedo & I will be “on the road again” starting tomorrow for him, and Sunday for me. We will each be posting as we have wifi access available. We will be meeting bbear, and other posters, on our travels , which will be taking us south, east, then north into NY, to participate in his family reunion.
