Aunty I take it you’re not a fan , I don’t mind them as long as they don’t mind me .

I like 1 or 2 little ones around – they keep the fruit fly population under control.

A few household lizards would take care of them.

If they disappear in your house; burn it down.

Handy. Clip & carry.

If I were you, Aunty, I’d concentrate on how to tell them apart… F’rinstance, I wouldn’t want to stamp on a “Run Like Hell” spider!

As long as they leave me alone, I like having spiders around to control the insect population in my house.

Aunty, if you don’t stamp (stomp) on it squarely, it will climb right up your leg and get you where the sun doesn’t shine.

What’s wrong with leaving it be? Or scooping it, using a cup and your hand (or a piece of cardboard, if you’re nervous), and placing it outside?

And Spider-Man thought Venom was a formidable foe…!

I love the little guys, they can all come to my house – inside and out! You can take all the flies, bad bugs and mosquitoes in exchange.

I used to have a black widow spider living in a corner by my kitchen sink. Spiders trap and kill insects which do NOT belong in my house. They don’t bother me, I don’t bother them. They are clean and harmless.

My brother HATED my black widow, was terrified of spiders, and thought I was nuts.

I read once that if you fear spiders, it signifies you don’t have (or had) a good relationship with your mother. I don’t know if I believe it or not, but my mother and I got along great. I fear poisonous spiders only.

You don’t want to shoot it because you might miss and hit your foot!

Also, don’t set it on fire, you might just burn down the house!
