Some of us smell pretty ripe, too.

Nice take, Aunty! As long as you don’t putrefy, it’s good, I guess.

But watch out for the next stage after ripe…

And not long after we’ve got it just right…

I’ve gone from ripe to soft, squishy and discolored in spots.

The only thing that’s gone ripe is the smell of success after eating a plateful of baked beans.
