Pluggers are still confused about why their TVs don’t get signals anymore after the digital conversion.

LOL – And don’t call me Shirley!

I recommend the Space Commander (and yes, we had one when I was little!)

notice the aluminum foil on the rabbit ears to boost reception.

if that IS a 1968 TV, the plastic gears in the channel selector would have worn out years ago. the only way to change channels would be to clamp a pair of vice grips on the chewed up stub

This cartoon seems contradictory to most Plugger ideals. Isn’t it the Plugger way to be kicked back in the La-Z-Boy with the clicker in one hand and a beer in the other?

Rabbit ears didn’t work in our area. I just remember Dad on the roof adjusting the antenna with Mom yelling, “Better!……..Worse!” out the window.

even the digital to analog boxed have a remote. Problem is unless you live close to where the signal comes from your reception still sucks.

and now in 2020 the cable companies have boxes that change the channel for you. No more rabbit ears today!
