A few days ago my usual source for comics stopped publishing Lio and I thought, “Lio finnaly went too far and got xx’eled.” Today Lio is back with the ‘flies’ and I thought, “is there nothing too gross for Lio that they won’t publish it?” Keep up the good work!

And the snails in SoCal, at least, were brought here by French folk for just that reason, and (of course, like so much imported wildlife) escaped. (–from a cooking show, years ago.)

A five-gallon bucket with some cornmeal, and about a week for the grass to be removed, and you have the makings. Don’t hold the garlic, and use the good olive oil! And to think I used to fling them on the roof for the birds.
