Yup, my cats are never interested in the contents of a box - - only the box, ribbon and wrap. So easy to shop for them.

Yay Cybil! She’s the best. She definitely has Simons Cat moments - especially when she’s on alarm clock duty. ……..Oddly enough she also looks like Fizzgig at times.

They don’t make em like they use to. I hope Lio kept his receipt. A lot of toys don’t last more than a day.

And the box is usually more fun, and for longer, than the contents.

I figured it was a box of boxes, with layers of catnip between!

My theory always was “Any toy can be the right toy.”

Well I just hope lio did not put any money into the gift… But hey I guess its the thought that counts and Cybil had her fun….

Aww, happy kitty!! And no-one had to die in the process! (Except the present…)

We used to wrap our kitty’s presents for Christmas, and they opened them the same way. It was usually a catnip toy. Only rarely did the toy survive the day, but we had happy cats.

Yes, the doggies got their presents, too. They loved unwrapping them. Sometimes they enjoyed playing with the wrapping paper more than the contents.

Magnamax, one of the physical laws of C-space (cartoon space) is that at times of frantic high speed motion body parts may appear simultaneously in more than one place (Observe almost any cartoon fight, for example).

We’ve got another “great minds think alike” here between this strip and tomorrow’s “New Adventures of Queen Victoria.”

If you look really close you can see a gnome’s hat, I think it must have been one of the gnomes that Cybil picked up back quite some time ago. Cybil strangely resembles my own cat here. There must have been cat nip or something in there…I hope.
