Actually, it’s illegal whether it’s ill or not, unless you are a licensed rehabilitator. That goes for any wildlife. That’s a law I have frequently broken.

I wanted to keep the eagle I killed, but I’m not native. Wonder what happened to it!??!??!?!?! There were a LOT of them out on the highway.
