Moderately Confused by Jeff Stahler for August 27, 2018

My late wife used to swear it was where you went when you were too bad to go to Hell. I told her it was Hell’s Test Range.

But it’s a dry heat. So is a blast furnace.

Nothing new here folks. Moved to Phoenix in ‘68, 117 degrees and didn’t go below 90, for the low, for the next 17 days.

While driving the state some years back, a radio dj said: welcome to Sun City, the skin cancer capital of the world. What a thoughtful intro for us green coast folks. Good thing we were just visiting instead of looking for new digs.

I miss it like a bad case of dysentery.

“How hot was it?” “It was so hot that you could…..”

Well what little of it I did see on a few visits – I sure did fall in love with the place! :)

Just moved to Kingman, Arizona from Sugar Land, Texas. Being in the high desert is a lot cooler than the low desert of Phoenix. Loving the low humidity in Kingman over the high from Houston/Sugar Land!
