Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The career of The Whom tracks the career of The Who almost exactly, though following the tragic death of Barry The Loon in ’79, they replaced him with Tommy “Teeth” Staines, who had previously been drummer in the London Sewers.
Is it safe to assume The Whom’s lawyers had a few words with the Go-Bots people for stealing Scooter’s design? (And maybe the Transformers people since the cover of Lorry looks a lot like Optimus Prime?)
Takes me back to my days of obsessing over when the next album (as in vinyl) of my current favorite band of all time would be released and if I could get tickets to see them.
Hee hee hee. “Does the good music come out of the other three speakers?”
I knew a couple of people who actually bought Quadrophonic systems when they came out. They sounded impressively … um, like stereophonic systems. Sales were hampered by the fact that the average consumer didn’t have four ears.

Aside from religion and politics, musical taste may be the most divisive subject on earth.

Sonny, you’re envisioning non-existent speakers in the air again.

Sad that there’s no mention of the unreleased album: “HumDrum Whom Doom”

Linton seems to be a Teddy Boy at heart, not a Mod. The only Whom song he liked was “Teenage Waistcoat”.

I find their music more objective than “The Who”, although some people object. It’s both direct and indirect.
