As long as Gene confines his roaming to his own yard, preferably in his own house with the curtains drawn, we’ll tolerate him and just maybe celebrate his diversity once in awhile. If nothing else, it will help us feel more like a normal member of society. I, for one, was starting to doubt myself until I saw Gene.
Well, Jester, who are you going to entertain? You can’t complete your roll hiding behind the curtain. Maybe come on down to the Tiki, I’m sure lots of folks will buy you drinks, (before they get annoyed).
I’m sorry, but Gene is nuttier than a fruitcake. I know, I know Geraldine is a nice woman, but how ( and) why she has put up with this foolishness all these years is beyond me.
Is Gene going to entertain his wife or is he looking for passersby that glance through the window? And will he juggle or what? Maybe he just dresses that way because of a fetish.
His predilection for motley garb and outlandish behavior is part of a longstanding family tradition. He comes from a long line of entertainers who’ve performed for many of the crowned heads of Europe.
Gene’s just returning to his roots. After the demise of Vaudeville, and dearth of television Variety Shows like The Ed Sullivan Show, Gene felt that the country was sorely in need of a man of his talents – a man how could tell jokes and stories, sing and dance, play a variety of musical instruments, juggle, and do acrobatic flips and pratfalls. Gene is an entertainer for the ages !
Unfortunately, The White House turned down the professional services of Gene the Jesting Jongleur Apparently they couldn’t take a Joke® and said there more than enough Fools in Washington, already !
Hell’s bells, people, he’s just preparing a little jest or maybe a geste and wants to play the part. He’s parting the curtains to sneak a peak at the audience. What he does next will tell the tale!

Aw, come on…. when did we get so judgemental on Ballard Street?
This is a place to let it all hang out….
though PLEASE…. not literally
I mean, we do like to see “it” clothed.
Gene, these days, is goofy, and silly…. but at least he’s totally covered.
It’s better than before his journey of self-discovery…

Gene the ding-a-ling is having fun with his two other ding-a-lings right with him by the window. Leave him be, he’ll be occupied for hours.
