Somethings missing there should be three more drugs for each of the three drugs for the side effects. And then three more drugs for each of those, and then …

I’ve been saying this for years about having to take prescription drugs. Sometimes it seems that you end up needing a series of additional meds to counteract the side effects of the main one you are prescribed. Talk about another pharma racket.

Shouldn’t there be two groups for side effects… one group for the left side and the other for the right?

I have epilepsy, and when I remember when I was a teenager having to take 11 different kinds of pills, with a total of 14 pills a day. At least 3 of them were just to counteract the side effects of the others. Fortunately, I now only have to take two pills a day of only one kind, and there are no side effects.

I have to go now, or I’ll miss my flight back to the Zorgillian system.

Sometimes I’ll listen to the side effects of a drug and say, “No thanks; I’ll keep my (whatever it is)!”

A shout-out to my wife. A blood sugar test at her last physical placed her at the lowest level of the diabetes spectrum. Doctor wanted to start her on prescription medication (for the rest of her life). Wife asked for 3-month reprieve to try to lose weight. Lost 26 pounds. Next blood sugar test placed her at the lowest level of pre-diabetes spectrum. Prescription rescinded.

Tell me about it Ziggy! My epilepsy medication eats my bones, so I need calcium to counteract it! (Decided to make it sound morbid.)
