The Terminator just kept coming back again and again. The same could easily be said about Godzilla too. Only in the first movie (1954) did humans manage to successfully kill him. In all the subsequent movies, either he was only temporarily defeated, either subdued for a limited amount of time , or defeated by another monster, then he would reappear none the less for wear in the next movie. (The 1998 movie doesn’t count because that’s not really Godzilla.)
