Boycott Wendy’s. It’s the only fast food chain refusing to pay 1¢ per pound more for tomatoes, so the pickers can make a livable wage.

Any alternative to working people making a living by harvesting millions of tons of food? Of course farming is hard; always has been.

One can be vegetarian and support organizations like the UFW that fight for better conditions and higher wages for farm workers.

Just remember, be you vegetarian or carnivore, there is nothing on your dinner plate that volunteered for the job.
