Before reading the caption in the 4th panel I thought the girls in the lounge had beat up Nate and his buddy.

What elementary school in the known universe has a student lounge? A teachers’ lounge, yes, but the kids have too much to do to go hang out in a room set aside for goofing off. What do they do in there, anyway? Smoke? Vape? No, I know: They stare at their iPhones and text, the way they do everywhere else in their lives. The whole premise is absurd.
